Software Engineer

4D is seeking a candidate to design and write software for high precision optical metrology instrumentation. You should be comfortable with Windows scientific programming, camera interfacing, graphical display and user interface issues. It is desirable to have a background in any of the following fields: software, physics, optics, optical testing, or image processing.

We are looking for candidates with the following minimum requirements:
1) 5 + years experience, or equivalent, in software engineering.
2) Object oriented analysis and design a must.
3) C, C++ and Python experience desired.
4) Background in math, engineering or science desired.
5) Background in signal processing a plus.
6) Minimum B.S. degree.
7) Excellent people skills, self motivated, and the demonstrated ability to work within a strong team.
