4D's dynamic Fizeau laser interferometers measure flatness, shape, thickness uniformity, homogeneity and wedge of flat mirrors, windows, prisms, etc, despite air movement and vibration. The unique, short coherence FizCam 2000 adds the ability to measure both sides of transparent optics as thin as 200 microns, in a single setup. The FizCam 2000 also lets you isolate and measure surfaces in multi-surface optical systems, to measure "remote cavities" in which one surface of an optic or system serves as the reference, and to measure the surfaces and relative thickness of solid cavities such as etalons (laser rods). 4D systems measure coated and uncoated flats, in wavelengths from deep UV through IR. Large diameter flats and focal plane arrays for telescope applications can also be easily measured. Optional mounts and beam expanders simplify measurement setup for highly accurate characterization of afocal optics. |
