The DiskCam 2000 dynamic Fizeau interferometer provides high accuracy measurement of polished aluminum and glass disks/ media, even in the presence of vibration and air turbulence. Featuring a proprietary laser source,  the system enables measurement of both sides of uncoated glass disks in a single setup, without the need for extraneous coatings to control multiple interference fringes.

The DiskCam’s single camera, high-speed optical phase sensor makes wavefront measurement in as little as 30 microseconds, so it can be operated under almost any conditions, including raised floor clean rooms or other noisy production facilities. The DiskCam can be configured for simple, high volume production operation and is compatible with most existing database systems. Its R&D configuration provides the flexibility to measure disk shape, clamping effects (including multiple disk stacks) and dynamic modal analysis of spinning disks.

The optional look-down configuration stand enables drive-level measurements and operation where floor space is at a premium.
