PolarCam™ micropolarizer cameras simultaneously capture multiple polarized images of each video frame, enabling a range of image enhancement techniques and polarimetric measurements. Small, fast and field-proven, these unique polarization imaging cameras suppress or boost data content without blur, for applications in image enhancement, medical imaging, surface mapping and more. Proprietary wiregrid polarizer technology gives the PolarCam’s sensor broad spectral response and angular bandwidth, high extinction and low cross-talk.

High-resolution PolarCam polarization cameras are available with 0.25, 1, 2 and 4 mega-pixel sensors, with 7.4 or 9.0 micron pixels. The video rate of up to 260 full frames per second ensures fast capture of quickly changing scenes.

Optional PolarView™ software provides real-time display and calculation of key polarization parameters, including Degree of Linear Polarization, Angle of Linear Polarization, S1, S2, and Enhanced Polarization Image. Use the many included tools to enhance the data, then save images and movies of any parameter to disk for comprehensive analysis.
